The research is clear, for children to learn effectively they need to feel safe and valued. That’s why child protection and wellbeing are key strategic priorities for AISA. It’s also why AISA is committed to supporting the wellbeing of entire school communities – educators, parents/caregivers and students.
We also recognise that for many, leading child protection and wellbeing programmes may feel isolating as this role is often led by one person at a school. That’s why AISA has developed a number of services and programmes to help support the specific needs of member schools.
Online and in-person training events, specialised resources, webinars and online Communities of Practice have been developed to support schools on their journey of strengthening the safety and wellbeing of their school community.
