    Felix Malombe is a dynamic force in African education, spearheading innovation in STEAM/STEM, EdTech, and Climate Education. As the AISA Innovative Schools Programme Coordinator, he brings together diverse educational leaders to explore technology’s transformative role in 21st-century learning. Malombe’s passion for educational empowerment led him to found STEAMLabs Africa, a social enterprise dedicated to equipping students, educators, and schools with cutting-edge skills and knowledge.

    Currently serving as the Digital Innovation Lead at Peponi Schools in Nairobi, Kenya, Malombe’s career spans several prestigious institutions. He has held key positions such as EdTech & Innovation Lead at Rusinga Schools, Technology Integration Specialist at Crawford International School-Kenya, and Technology Integrator at Hillcrest International Schools. Malombe’s contributions to education have garnered significant recognition. In 2023, he was named one of the Top 30 EdTech Leaders in Africa by Empower Africa. The previous year, he emerged as a Top Ten Finalist for the Africa Education Medal, an honour bestowed by T4 Education, HP, Intel, and Microsoft. His innovative approach to STEAM education earned him a Gold award at the 2019 International STEAM Curriculum Competition held in San Francisco and Shanghai.
