We do, and we invite all businesses and organisations who support our mission and who can offer quality products and services to our members to become part of our AISA community.
As the educational landscape has changed for international schools, we at AISA have adjusted our approach to create greater opportunities for our members. This way, we seek to support professional learning and school effectiveness in international schools throughout Africa.
Africa focus
Of Africa, for Africa and based in Africa, AISA understands the unique realities, challenges and needs of international schools on the continent, and has an existing, active and successful communication network with school leadership, administration, operations and educators. We can not only provide access to this network, we can give valuable advice on how best to engage for better outcomes.
Experience
AISA has been supporting international schools in Africa for over 50 years. The AISA Board comprises accomplished heads of schools, each with many years’ experience in international schools globally, and most importantly in Africa. The AISA team operates out of Kenya, South Africa and abroad and is led by Dr Peter Bateman, who has worked in the education sector in Africa for almost three decades.
Quality
From our professional learning institutes to our focused blending learning, service learning, STEAM and wellbeing programmes, to our support services on governance and leadership, school effectiveness, child protection and wellbeing, our visiting consultants and our networking opportunities, AISA’s stringent quality standards are renowned. A fact that is evident in our year-on-year membership retention and growth.
Agility
Based in Africa and comprising a small team of highly effective individuals with strong relationships with AISA school members, we can use our understanding and insights to constantly learn and adapt to the changing needs of our members and the continent. This applies to the bespoke collaborations we create with our associates.
