Search Associates is proud to announce its inaugural 2-day Africa Virtual Job Fair. We welcome AISA schools and their teachers to interview at this unique recruitment event set to take place on 04 – 05 December 2021.

Why a Virtual Job Fair?
Candidates keen to work in international schools in Africa have been unable to travel to in-person job fairs previously held in Africa, due to cost and time constraints. Those same constraints also impacted the ability of recruiters to take part in an in-person job fair. Our Africa Virtual Fair enables schools to interview candidates specifically interested in working on this continent, wherever they are now in the world, and schools in Africa can do so within their own time zone, without leaving campus. This Fair is a permanent, virtual feature of the services we offer to AISA member schools and educators. Follow the links below to view the event schedules:

Which candidates will attend?
With the common denominator being that all candidates are seeking positions in Africa, teachers, and administrators from all over the world will attend. Most will have international school experience. Domestically experienced teachers offering shortage areas – Chemistry, Physics, Early Childhood, Counselors, Psychology teachers, and Librarians – will also attend. Importantly, candidates must have an active, fully referenced and verified Search Associates account to request an invitation.

Which schools will attend?
Only schools in Africa may attend. Participating schools must be active, approved members of Search Associates – all our Africa member schools will be invited in August 2021.

Non-member schools interested to attend should please contact Gez Hayden for guidance on how to apply for membership.

How will the Fair operate?
The time zone for the 2-day Fair is Central Africa Time (UTC+2.00). Our improved Fair Portal helps candidates and schools coordinate contact and interview times across different time zones, as well as providing the necessary school and candidate information. Opportunities to interact live with candidates include interviews and live chat for pre-interview screening (through the Fair Portal), live Q&A sessions at which candidates can ask questions about your school, and school-initiated video “meet and greet” appointments for further in-person screening conversations.

Will the Fair be a large event?
We anticipate 35 schools will attend, and approximately 200 candidates.

How do I register?
Search Associate member schools can register online from their Search Associates account. Active Search Associates candidates may request invitations online, from their account dashboard.
