Leadership & Governance Program
Building Capacity
for Purposeful Leadership
Strong schools start with strong leadership. AISA’s Leadership & Governance program develops the capacity of school leaders and boards to lead with purpose, clarity, and care.
This program includes professional learning for Heads of School, principals, and trustees—focusing on strategic planning, ethical governance, board-Head partnership, and instructional leadership. Whether you're new to leadership or a seasoned executive, AISA offers guidance, connection, and growth opportunities rooted in the international African school context.
We believe leadership is a shared endeavor. This strand fosters leadership that is inclusive, strategic, and responsive—ensuring schools are guided by vision, grounded in values, and prepared for the future.
