AISA

HISTORY

AISA was born out of a simple but powerful truth: international schools in Africa face unique challenges, and deserve tailored, trusted, and thoughtful support.

In a region where educational systems vary and resources can be scarce, and where school leaders and educators often navigate complexity alone, AISA stepped in to walk beside them, offering clarity, connection, and practical tools grounded in context.

Over time, AISA has become more than a service provider. We’ve become a partner helping schools adapt to new realities, strengthen leadership, prioritize wellbeing, and build cultures of learning that reflect both global aspirations and local truths.

Based in East Africa, we understand that excellence in education must be both globally informed and locally grounded. We serve schools that uphold international academic standards, yet operate within the diverse, dynamic, and deeply human contexts of the African continent.

Africa is not simply where we work, it’s part of who we are. Its cultures, rhythms, and relationships inform how we listen, how we lead, and how we learn. We don’t view Africa as a challenge to overcome, but as a source of richness, resilience, and relevance. Our role is to empower schools to prepare students for a global future while honoring the places they call home.

AISA is still committed to what has always defined us: presence, purpose, and a commitment to helping educators and schools. We continue to evolve, offering responsive, research-informed, and community-driven support that empowers schools to thrive in a rapidly shifting educational landscape. AISA offers learning that is globally aligned, contextually grounded, and locally inspired.
