Having had the opportunity to teach abroad, in high-risk areas, with adjudicated youth and adult learners, Porsha has had a broad set of experiences in dealing with a diverse group of students and student needs. She is currently the Director of Teaching, Learning, and Innovation at the American School of Cape Town. Porsha holds a PhD from the University of Maryland in International Education Policy and has a particular interest in ensuring equitable access and outcomes. Porsha is from Maryland and enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two kids.
