The AISA Innovative Schools Programme empowers schools to integrate technology effectively, enhance educational innovation, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and modern learning environment. Our programme is anchored by five strategic pillars that serve as the foundation for success in the digital age.
To streamline the AISA Innovative Schools Programme, it is consolidated into three comprehensive pillars:
Technology Leadership and Governance (High Level)
Promoting Effective Technology Leadership and Governance
The objective is to empower AISA member schools by providing robust leadership and governance frameworks for technology management. This involves developing and implementing comprehensive IT policies, governance frameworks, and cybersecurity protocols. Additionally, the initiative aims to enhance school leadership capabilities through targeted workshops focused on technology management and digital crisis preparedness.
Strategic IT Policy, Emergency Preparedness, and Cybersecurity (Operational)
Crafting and Securing Strategic IT Policies for Digital Resilience
The objective is to support schools in crafting and securing strategic IT policies to ensure they are prepared for technological challenges. This includes guiding schools in developing comprehensive IT policies that consider emerging technologies such as AI, assisting in establishing emergency preparedness plans and enhancing cybersecurity measures. Additionally, the initiative offers training sessions to improve leadership’s ability to adapt to digital advancements and secure digital environments.
Research, Innovation, and Educational Technology Integration (Classroom Engagement)
Fostering Innovation and Integrating Technology in Education
The objective is to cultivate a culture of research and innovation while ensuring effective technology integration in education. This involves promoting student-led research projects and innovation hubs, integrating educational technology into teaching, learning, and assessment through blended learning methods and digital tools, and providing frameworks for innovative teaching approaches. Additionally, regional showcases will share successful outcomes to highlight effective practices and inspire further advancements.
