Moreland University – Pathway to U.S. Teacher Certification

Date: March 1, 2023

The aim of this workshop was to provide relevant information about the quality of Moreland University’s teacher preparation certificate program for participants within the AISA ecosystem.

Moreland University is focused on delivering the TEACH-NOW Teacher Preparation Certificate Program along with Master’s in Education degrees via a highly interactive, collaborative online learning platform.  Participants took a deeper dive into these programs to better understand how Moreland University will prepare candidates for successful careers in teaching and education.

AISA’s strategic partnership with Moreland University over the past five years has facilitated US Teacher Certification for nearly 100 people across our family of schools. Moreland’s pathway to teacher certification has proved popular with host nation teachers and teaching assistants who seek an American teaching certification. AISA members receive a substantial discount, bringing the registration cost down to US$5,400 per person.

As a result of viewing this institute, you can expect to:

  • Learn how Moreland University empowers you to teach anywhere in the world through innovative online programs

Testimonial:

One of the most important skills I learned was the ability to effectively manage a classroom. In addition, I learned how to design effective lesson plans that incorporate various instructional strategies and assessment tools. Furthermore, I learned how to use technology in the classroom to aid in instruction and to engage students.”
