AISA Wellbeing for All Webinar: Transitions

Date: May 13, 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic presents a perfect storm of unknowns for our students, parents, and educators. School closures, stay in place orders, and the uncertainty of how long this will last can be a lot to process for anyone especially amid a transition between divisions, schools or countries.

AISA’s 6th webinar in our Well-being Wednesday series will focus on how to facilitate healthy transitions in the virtual context during these unique times. The facilitators will be sharing their ideas on how to help facilitate smooth transitions in ES, MS and HS during this unknown territory.

During this practical webinar, participants will:

  • Understand the elements of grief in transitions
  • Appreciate the unique challenges of transitions during COVID-19
  • Hear some ideas for making virtual transitions from different perspectives
  • Get a chance to share innovative ideas being used in their schools

Facilitators:
Dr DeeDee Werner, Nancy Remondi and Shelly Maldonado
School Counsellors – International School of Kenya (ISK)
