Teaching in English in a Multilingual Classroom

Delivered to international school teachers worldwide, this train-the-trainer program is designed to support schools in training their staff on how to support students learning English in the classroom, with strategies and tools for inclusive classrooms. TEMC is aimed specifically at teachers working with diverse student cohorts aged between 8 and 18 years and has particular benefit for teachers whose students are learning in a language that is not their primary language. Focus areas include: language and literacy, scaffolding, text comprehension, vocabulary building, writing, listening, assessing, and setting up systems in your school.

Five-day, in-person course

Dates: October 13-17, 2025

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Host: Dar es Salaam International Academy (DIA)
