UTS has been working closely with our education networks in Africa since approximately 2018 however we would like to engage more closely with international schools in Africa for the following purposes:
- raise awareness of the University of Technology Sydney
- provide International Career Advisors with the confidence to discuss Sydney, Australia as a destination for higher education
- provide access to UTS Open taster courses as a professional development opportunity for both staff and students in the AISA network
- attend the AISA conference to gain a deeper understanding of members needs and consider a UTS response
- provide support via virtual or face-to-face workshops hosted by UTS academics
We have noted the close alignment between both the AISA and UTS core values of core values of diversity, equity, inclusion & justice, well-being (both students and staff), blended learning approaches and strength in governance and leadership (including staff and students).
The Association of International Schools in Africa is dedicated to serving its members throughout Africa. Please let us know if you require additional or specific information, resources and or support, and we will endeavour to assist you as soon as possible.
