Description

This three-part virtual workshop series, Leading Smarter: Enhancing Leadership with AI, is designed specifically for international school leaders seeking to navigate the evolving role of artificial intelligence in education. The sessions aim to equip international school leaders with the knowledge, mindset, and practical tools to responsibly integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into their leadership practices, improving operational efficiency, strategic communication, and ethical decision-making in schools.

Workshop 1: 14 Oct. 2025
What Every School Leader Needs to Know About AI

The series begins by grounding participants in essential AI knowledge—demystifying large language models, machine learning, and generative tools—while exploring their practical and ethical implications in school contexts. Leaders will reflect on their current responsibilities to identify areas where AI might enhance their effectiveness.

Workshop 2: 21 Oct.2025
Building a Shared Vision with Staff, Students & Families

The second session shifts focus to communication, helping leaders build a shared vision by engaging thoughtfully with staff, students, and families. Participants will address common hopes and concerns, and co-create school-specific AI use agreements that reflect their community’s values.

Workshop 3: 28 Oct. 2025
AI as Your Co-Pilot – Smarter Workflows and Stronger Leadership

The final session takes a hands-on approach, empowering leaders to experiment with AI tools that can streamline administrative tasks, from email drafting to agenda creation and data analysis. By distinguishing when to rely on AI and when to prioritize human judgment, leaders will walk away with a balanced, strategic approach to implementation.

As a result of participating at this institute, attendees can expect to:

  • Build foundational understanding of AI and its implications for school leadership
  • Equip leaders to guide thoughtful conversations about AI with staff, students, and families
  • Enable leaders to integrate AI tools into daily workflows to support smarter, more efficient leadership
