Student Service Leader Award

2018/19 Award Winners

Amani Kiruga

International School Kenya (ISK)

Amani leads by example and initiates our ideas for the clubs. He is an inventor, a leader and is leading the research and development team to build a fully automated electronic arm controlled by muscle movement. Amani started this service club to use the resources in the fabrication lab to serve the community. The wider school community can pay for the services. He chooses service projects that directly impact his community and is an inspiring person in the field of technology and innovation in his community. He has led an initiative to supply 3D printed prosthetics to disadvantaged children.

    2. Integration into the school’s service learning program
