Just as AISA is the premier association for international schools on the African Continent, it shares a unique relationship with those associations representing international schools in other sub regions around the globe.
The Association for the Advancement of International Education(AAIE) is a non-profit, membership based international organization that partners with educational institutions and associations worldwide to exchange international ideas, resources and research that help develop and improve international education and diversify and expand school leadership capacity.
The Association of American Schools of Central America, Colombia, Caribbean and Mexico seeks to improve the quality of teaching and learning opportunities for the schools in this region by exploring ways to achieve better understanding through international education, provide an avenue for communication and cooperation among member institutions, and facilitate cooperation with national, state, local, and non-governmental agencies in the field of international education.
The Central & Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA) was founded as a result of the growth of American and International Schools in Central and Eastern Europe. In many cases, the schools were geographically isolated from each other and from the main stream of American and International Education.

Association of American Schools in South America(AASSA) is a financially healthy, vibrant, membership-driven organization with visionary leadership providing cutting edge, relevant programs and timely, cost-effective services. AASSA's mission is to provide and promote programs and services to member schools whose primary language of instruction is English in order to enhance the quality of American and international education in the Americas.
Council of International Schools (CIS) is a membership community working collaboratively to shape international education through professional services to schools, higher education institutions, and individuals. The CIS vision is to inspire the development of global citizens through high quality international education: connecting ideas, cultures, and educators from every corner of the world.
ECIS We work together as a community to shape and promote leading practices in international and internationally-minded schools around the world. Our network is powerful and diverse – we have 30,000+ teachers and 4,000+ administrators in some 90 countries around the world. The greatest concentrations of our members are in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, followed by North America, Africa, and South America.
EARCOS inspires adult and student learning through its leadership and service and fosters intercultural understanding, global citizenship and exceptional educational practices within our learning community.
Membership in EARCOS is open to elementary and secondary schools in East Asia which offer an educational program using English as the primary language of instruction, and to other organizations, institutions, and individuals interested in the objectives and purposes of the Council.
To maximize student learning, NESA serves member schools by facilitating sustainable and systemic school improvement based on the best practices of American and international education.
NESA will create dynamic, collaborative professional relationships that transcend current barriers and boundaries in order to maximize student learning in member schools.
The Mediterranean Association of International Schools is a professional organization that strives to improve the quality of education in its Member schools. It promotes the professional development of Faculty, Administrators, and School Board Members, effects communication and interchange, and creates international understanding.
