2025 AISA Conference: Call for Workshop Submissions

POSTED: May 23, 2025Category: Articles, NewsBY: Steve

Join us as a Workshop Facilitator at AISA 2025!

The AISA Professional Learning Design Team (PLDT) warmly invites teachers, leaders, and co-professionals from AISA member schools to submit proposals for leading a Discovery Workshop or Job-a-like Workshop at the 2025 AISA Conference. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your expertise, connect with like-minded colleagues, and contribute to professional learning across AISA schools.

Workshop Opportunities

  • Discovery Workshops (60 minutes)

These sessions should align with our conference theme: Ubumwe: Our Collective Strength, Our Shared Future. We encourage co-facilitation and topics that will engage and inspire educators across AISA schools.

  • Job-a-like Workshops (60 minutes)

Designed for professionals in similar roles—such as Admissions Managers or IB Art Teachers—these sessions focus on meaningful discussions, peer learning, and building connections that extend beyond the conference.

How to Submit Your Proposal

Submit your workshop proposal via our online portal by Monday 30 June, 2025.

  1. Create login details: Select ‘New User’ and set up your profile.
  2. Submit your workshop: Click “Submission” > “Add New” and choose “AISA School Members” under the Submission Group menu.
  3. Select your session type: Choose Option 4 – Discovery Workshop or Option 5 – Job-a-like Workshop and complete the form.
  4. Add co-facilitators (if applicable).
  5. Finalize and submit: Once your session plan is ready, click “Save and Submit.”

You can reach out to Graham at gwatts@aisa.or.ke if you have any clarifying questions.
