Maria Castillo Diaz has been part of the Clements Worldwide Team since 2017. She works with international schools in Latin America and Africa. Originally from Venezuela, Maria has been living abroad since 2002. While pursuing a master’s degree in Law with a concentration on European and International Trade Company Law at the University of Sussex, Maria worked at a local insurance company specializing in property and casualty products. A few years later at Bupa Global, Maria learned the challenges of international insurance risks, the complexity of dealing with several countries' legislations simultaneously, and the unique needs each country has. Maria's mission is to be able to offer expert advice and long-term sustainable solutions to the international school community that fits their needs and budget.

Understanding Directors and Officers (D&O) School Board Liability
