The session will begin with a brief overview of the teaching as an inquiry model from New Zealand. This model will be used to introduce participants to the practicality of professional teacher inquiries. The teaching as inquiry model is a professional development method that positions student learning at the heart of teaching approaches.
Participants will be provided with realistic and authentic examples of how data can be used to support student-centered learning and teaching strategies. Breakout rooms will be used to encourage participants to discuss and develop steps towards implementing their contextualised professional teacher inquiries.
Educators who are interested in data-driven educational practices that can inform both student and teacher learning will benefit from this session.Back to the conference
