Leveraging Flexible Digital Curriculum to Drive Equity

Date: November 16, 2022

Schools continue to grapple with how to implement a digital curriculum in their learning environments to benefit students’ academic success and growth. Challenges range from acquiring buy-in from other teachers and the wider school community, technical problems and device access, and sometimes, just not knowing where to begin using new online programs.

In this session, we talked about three of the most important areas when it comes to implementing a digital curriculum. These include how to successfully implement a digital curriculum, manage the change a new program can bring to your community, and the greater flexibility a program will bring to students and their learning to accelerate their growth.

The areas that were covered support the ultimate driving force for any implementation of an online curriculum, which is to provide additional opportunities for students to maximize their success after school.

By viewing this session, you can expect to:

  • Understand the key tenets of quality online learning
  • Gain practical ideas for reducing teacher and parent hesitancy over the use of digital curriculum
  • Benefit from practical ideas for raising student voice and agency over learning
