AISA WEBINAR: FINDING YOUR AISA COMMUNITY: PROMOTING DEIJ IN THE AISA REGION

Date: November 10, 2021

The aim of this webinar was to introduce the AISA community to our Affinity Groups.

One of the initiatives of the AISA Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Justice (DEIJ) Programme is the establishment of a number of Affinity Groups. The purpose of these groups is to provide a safe space online for AISA members who share a commonality to connect, share ideas, challenges and interests.

During the session, AISA’s Affinity Groups and the DEIJ Design Team members were introduced. The DEIJ Design Team will facilitate each of the following groups:

  1. Women in Leadership
  2. LGBTQ
  3. BIPOC Educators
  4. DEIJ Allies
