Update from Colin Bell, COBIS CEO – Chair to the Board

POSTED: September 8, 2022Category: News, Press ReleasesBY: Steve

I wanted to share an important COBIS appointment with you, which is being accompanied by a rigorous advertising campaign that we have launched.

Our good friend and Colleague, Trevor Rowell, COBIS Chair, has shared his intention to step down after a decade of outstanding leadership. The COBIS Board have unanimously agreed that they are enormously grateful for all that he has contributed and continues to contribute to COBIS. Trevor will continue to operate as the COBIS Chair until a suitable successor has been appointed.

In response, the COBIS Nomination Committee has been established and they have appointed Anthony Millard Consulting to manage the search for the next COBIS Chair. Applications are now invited, and adverts have gone live today with The Guardian and Tes.

Please feel free to circulate this to appropriate candidates in your network.

You can view the recruitment pack for full details of the role and application procedure, please click here.

I look forward to seeing you all at some stage soon.

Kind regards,
Colin Bell
CEO
