Under the theme, “From Surviving to Thriving: Designing for Belonging, Wellbeing and Transformation”, the 2022 AISA Conference will explore how we can design the future of international education in our region. At the heart of these designs is a renewed focus on the wellbeing of students, educators, leaders and parents. We know that those who are serious about improving wellbeing are inclusive and bold and ensure everyone’s voice is heard and valued equally.

Throughout the conference, international consultants and experts from our international schools will provide opportunities to explore innovations in teaching, learning and leading that are transforming schools and their communities. Together, the professional learning, affinity groups, discovery workshops, exhibition and social events have been designed to reinforce the sense of belonging for which AISA conferences are renowned.
One of the educational consultants we are excited about and looking forward to joining us at the AISA Conference is the award-winning author of Growing Up Global: Raising Children to Be at Home in the World – Homa Sabet Tavangar. Homa will be making the keynote plenary presentation as well as facilitating deep-dive sessions. Through fearless inquiry, participants will gain lenses, skills and mindsets to navigate this most challenging era for schools, to avoid going “back to normal, because normal wasn’t so great, to begin with.”
Dr Catlin Tucker, bestselling author, blended learning coach and education consultant will be coming to the AISA Conference to help guide educators in reimagining time-consuming, teacher-led, and often ineffective workflows to make them student-led, sustainable, and more effective.

AISA school leaders and educators are invited to submit applications to lead an affinity group or discovery workshop at the conference. Affinity groups unite those with shared identities and seek to provide an opportunity for them to amplify their voices. Discovery workshops on the other hand are an opportunity to explore something different, to learn about innovations in other AISA schools and explore solutions to commonly shared challenges.
Submit a Proposal if you would like to be considered to lead an affinity group or discovery workshop at the 2022 AISA Conference. Please review the Conference Programme to identify themes for the affinity groups and discovery workshops.
AISA Associate Members will have an opportunity to attend and exhibit at the conference. Associates can review the AISA Conference Sponsorship Opportunities and select their preferred sponsorship level when registering for the event.
AISA has negotiated preferential rates at the Indaba Hotel for all our conference delegates. Click the image below to get in touch with Sharon and book your accommodation.
