Global Equality Collective (GEC)

Get your diversity and inclusion together. We make ordinary classrooms extraordinarily inclusive. We are a community of 15K+, a collective of 350+ DEI experts and our multi-award winning ‘GEC App’.

Company profile

At the Global Equality Collective (GEC), our mission is to make ordinary classrooms extraordinarily inclusive.  GEC is a grassroots community of 15K+, a collective of 400+ DEI subject matter experts and the GEC App.

Our multi-award winning ‘GEC App’ is the world's first app for diversity and inclusion.

Created by teachers, school leaders and DEI change makers, the GEC App provides you with all the data, information and education that you need - from early years to post16 - to break your own new ground in diversity, equity and inclusion. We cover all the protected characteristics of the Equality Act (2010), PLUS single parents rights, socio-economic status, anti-racism, neurodiversity and menopause - and the intersectionality of all of these too.

We are now researching and piloting the GEC Student App with 35 of our schools globally - the first to understand how staff and students' voice matter when it comes to DEI.

Learning Supported by Global Equality Collective (GEC)

Our multi-award winning, research-based digital platform consists of two academically-backed assessments (leadership and all staff) that GEC Members do on their own timescales. Next up, there’s a fully automated detailed walk-through of your results, our new inbuilt roadmap, the GEC Action Plan, and all the training your staff need to start changing the world, one conversation at a time with our 'Netflix' style GEC Library

Get your D&I together. We have reached over 143,000 students across 200+ schools & colleges since launching at the end of 2021. We have partnered with AISA and have 10 AISA schools currently piloting the GEC App to review attitudes to DEI in African international schools. We welcome you to also come join the GEC and let's body pop DEI across your organisation!

  • We believe that the only way to achieve equality is by working together. Together teacher Nic Ponsford and her co-founder Product Director Cat Wildman have raised over £300k to build the GEC App! See their story here: https://youtu.be/IJ3trLisgOM
