Professional biography

Felix is an EdTech and Innovation Coach at Rusinga Schools in Nairobi. He is a strategic leader and collaborative partner working with Heads of Schools, faculty and students. He successfully leads the co-creation, development and implementation of an innovative, comprehensive educational technology plan and overarching integrated STEAM Vision, which focuses on teaching and learning and the student experience. He also serves as the Executive Director of STEAMLabs Africa, an organization that seeks to ignite young minds, transform educational practice and empower generations through STEAM Education and EdTech. Through STEAMLabs, he supports various public and private schools in Kenya on the implementation of technology in schools and supports EdTech and Innovation events around the world.

Felix is an International Keynote Speaker on EdTech, Computer Science and STEAM, recently at Transform Education Conference (2022), EduTech Africa Conferences (2020 and 2021), Scratch Africa Global Conference (2019) etc. He was named among the Top 10 Finalists of the African Education Medal in 2022. In 2019, he was STEAM Curriculum Developer Gold Winner in San Francisco, US and later Awarded in Shanghai, China. 

His STEAM Curriculum is guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, uses different approaches of project-based learning such as Design Thinking, Human Centered Design, Engineering design process and the Project Zero’s Agency by Design.
