Elizabeth Imende-Cooney is founder of Advancing Educators, a consulting firm that helps drive innovation and student-centered advancement efforts in schools worldwide. Elizabeth has led over 2000 educators and administrators in multi-year, school-based professional development programs to deepen teaching skill, support student learning and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
In addition to her work in American public and private schools, Elizabeth has consulted for schools and educational organizations in South America, East Asia, Europe and Africa on a range of topics including school leadership, coaching, strategic planning, peer observation, curriculum planning, student-centered instruction and the recognition and celebration of cultural diversity.
Elizabeth earned her B.A. from Wake Forest University and her Ed.M from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
