This three-part series of workshops will prepare Heads of Schools, school leaders, leaders of special education and inclusion and school counsellors to feel confident and clear on their path to lead their schools to being more inclusive communities.
This impactful three-part workshop series empowers Heads of Schools and other leaders to confidently lead their institutions toward greater inclusivity:
Part 1: The Vision: Reflecting and Reconnecting to Your Values and Beliefs About Inclusion Educational leaders explore their personal and institutional commitments to inclusive education through guided reflective practices. They will assess current practices, envision an ideal inclusive environment, and set actionable goals to enhance inclusion in their schools.
Part 2: Choosing Your Words: Creating a Sound Byte That Draws Others to Embrace Inclusion in Your Community Participants learn to craft concise, compelling messages that communicate the value of inclusion to various stakeholders. Through interactive exercises, they will develop sound bytes to effectively articulate their vision and inspire their communities towards inclusivity.
Part 3: Shifting Mindsets: Building a Community of Advocates for Inclusion This session focuses on creating a culture of belonging and engaging the entire school community in inclusion efforts. Heads of Schools will learn to identify and build teams of advocates, develop effective advocacy strategies, and connect with peers to share best practices and support.
By the end of the series, participants will have renewed their vision for inclusion, gained practical tools for implementation, and established a network for ongoing support and collaboration.
