Description

This is a shared responsibility to ensure that learners, teachers, counsellors, school leaders and caregivers collectively contribute to fostering competency in skills related to social emotional, global perspective and identity development, and academic and career domains.  Are we all operating from the same understanding of these skills? And what do these skills look like across different developmental levels from Pre-K through Grade 12? Join us to get your hands, minds and hearts around the ISCA Student Standards and get a behind-the-scenes look at a learning progression that will support schools as they place SEL at the heart of what they do, by design.

Key questions this webinar will cover

  • What are the essential SEL skills needed to foster lifelong well-being and success?
  • How can we ensure a shared understanding of SEL among teachers, counsellors, leaders, and caregivers?
  • What does social-emotional, global perspective, identity development, academic, and career skills look like across different developmental stages from Pre-K to Grade 12?
  • How can the ISCA Student Standards and Learning Progression support schools in placing SEL at the centre of their mission, by design?
