This session will equip primary school educators with strategies to foster a supportive environment that encourages exploration and mastery of math.

We will explore how to create a supportive classroom environment that nurtures exploration, perseverance, and mastery in maths. You’ll leave equipped with innovative tools and strategies to make maths accessible and enjoyable for all learners.

    A recognised leader in international education, Eloïse led the AISA Primary Principal Group and has conducted impactful workshops on maths differentiation across Africa.

    Eloïse’s influence extends beyond her principal role—she founded an after-school program for refugee children in Germany and serves as an IB workshop leader and school-visit team member. Her career exemplifies her commitment to accessible, empowering education worldwide.

    Hannah Woodhead is a seasoned educator with over 15 years of experience in international schools across Kazakhstan, Czechia, and Malawi. A passionate advocate for inclusive learning, she specialises in designing differentiated maths lessons that meet students at their zone of proximal development, fostering critical-thinking, confidence, and a genuine love for the subject.

    As co-founder of Awesomenicity, Hannah is a dynamic consultant and workshop leader who empowers educators with innovative strategies to transform maths instruction. Her engaging, adaptable approaches bring maths to life for diverse classrooms, ensuring every student feels challenged, supported, and capable of success.

    Hannah’s expertise extends to professional development, helping international schools adapt to evolving educational needs. She has led impactful workshops on tailoring maths instruction to diverse learners, equipping teachers with practical tools to boost engagement and achievement. Through her work, she is committed to making maths an accessible, empowering experience for students and educators alike.

    Caitlin is an innovative educator and co-founder of Awesomenicity, a maths learning platform dedicated to inspiring students and empowering educators through inquiry-driven, highly differentiated instruction. With extensive experience in diverse settings—from remote Indigenous communities in Australia to international schools—she designs creative, research-backed maths lessons that spark curiosity and build deep conceptual understanding.

    As a consultant and workshop leader, Caitlin has facilitated impactful sessions on conceptual maths instruction, including for the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA). She has also shared her expertise in remote learning strategies through NEASC webinars and contributed thought-provoking articles to The International Educator. Passionate about equipping teachers with practical tools, Caitlin ensures maths is engaging, accessible, and enjoyable for every learner.
