This webinar will explore why and how we can use stories to amplify our service learning programs.

Some of the questions we’ll explore in this webinar include:

  • How can we listen to each other so we build intercultural understanding?
  • How can stories help us understand the root causes of inequity or injustice, and how can this shape our understanding of another person’s experience or perspective?
  • How might this shape our service learning programs to get at deeper levels of understanding and empathy?
  • How can we create and tell our service stories to build rich cultures on our campuses where service and sustainability flourish?

LeeAnne is an experienced service learning educator and English teacher, and this webinar will offer insights into how we might go beyond shallow understandings and/or assumptions with our service initiatives to build capacity in our students for authentic global citizenship.
