The aim of this deep dive is to explore research-based best practices in the teaching of world and classical languages and determine ways to incorporate new strategies, tasks, and thematic units into current practice.
In this deep dive, we will explore best practices in the teaching of world languages with a focus on ways to make language learning both effective and fun for all students! Participants will design and develop their own thematic units with accompanying performance assessments for use in their own classes. We will also learn from each other, as there will be opportunities for sharing tips and tricks, as well as the curriculum resources we create and curate.
