RISE (Responsive, Inclusive, Sustainable, and Empowering Tools for HR Managers) is a two-day immersive experience designed to equip HR professionals across Africa with the tools and strategies needed to thrive in the diverse and dynamic international school environments across the continent.

Through interactive workshops, expert-led sessions, and collaborative activities, you’ll gain valuable insights into culture mapping, talent management, diversity and inclusion, and more.

Discover how to build thriving workplaces where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered to contribute their best while navigating the unique cultural and legal contexts of different African countries.

As a result of participating in this institute, attendees can expect to:

    Dr. Nadine N’tasha Richards, a first-generation Afro-Jamaican American, is a passionate advocate for equity in education. Her work focuses on empowering marginalized groups, increasing diversity in leadership, and improving access to advanced educational opportunities. A former school leader in international schools, Dr. Richards previously served as the Director of Leadership Searches at ISS and recently assumed the role of Director of Global Recruitment, Strategy, and Partnerships at ISS. She is also the CEO and principal consultant of Nadine Inspires LLC. Her forthcoming book, “Roses from Concrete: A Black Feminist Leadership Model for School Reform,” reflects her commitment to creating a more just and inclusive educational landscape.
