Description

The unique demands and extraordinary rewards of the head of school role require continual renewal. At the 2025 AISA School Heads Summit (SHS), you’ll find the space and the community to reconnect with your core purpose, rediscover your drive, and return to your school with renewed energy as you connect with other school heads.

The summit provides both informal and structured opportunities to delve into our collective expertise, address challenges, celebrate innovations and envision the future. For those new to Africa, the summit is a perfect introduction to the warm and supportive AISA community.

This year, we’re enhancing the retreat experience with a curated menu of optional unwind activities, allowing you to tailor your downtime with cultural excursions, forest walks, game drives, or AISA school tours all of which will capitalize on the local flavor and distinctive experiences of vibrant Nairobi.

SHS participants can expect to:

  1. Engage in informal conversations and discussions with other Heads in our region to build professional community, make lasting connections and peer support.
  2. Discuss issues, worries and challenges from your professional practice and seek advice from your peers in Collaborative Enquiry workshops.
  3. Seek input from two other heads in a Consulting Group, discussing an issue of your choosing.
  4. Share Innovative Practices and successful solutions between AISA schools.
  5. Engage with future-focused issues in international education, consider your responses and plan in the Future Focus workshops.
  6. Participate in social activities that strengthen your professional networks.

The registration deadline for this learning event is Fri. 25 April 2025.
