In alignment with AISA’s commitment to adapt and evolve to meet the diverse needs of our membership, we are thrilled to announce the opening for self-nominations for the AISA Board for the 2024/25 school year. A landmark decision by our Board and Membership in late 2022 introduced a Hybrid Board Model, incorporating 5 elected members, who are heads of AISA Full Member schools, alongside 4 appointed members. These appointed members are chosen for their unique expertise and perspectives from a broad range of schools and organizations, including those beyond our current membership. This innovative approach is designed to broaden the diversity of our Board, ensuring we represent the rich tapestry of our community.
Next year, we will have four Board positions available: two will be elected, and notably, two will be appointed. This continues to open a pathway for a wider array of contributors from within our community to engage with AISA’s governance, offering their distinctive skills and experiences to guide our strategic direction, fiduciary oversight, and generative governance.
