DEIJ PRINCIPLES IN THE CLASSROOM, A RECAP ON SESSION 03 OF THE DEIJ COLLABORATIVE

POSTED: November 24, 2023Category: GeneralBY: AISA P9

The AISA DEIJ Collaborative meeting on 15 November 2023, focused on topics covered in the third chapter of the AISA DEIJ Guide: Pathways to Transformation, Teaching and Learning.

Participants in the session discussed how educators can integrate diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) principles into their teaching practices to create a more inclusive and equitable learning environment.  They touched on strategies on how DEIJ principles could be incorporated into teaching and how this affected learning. You can listen to the rich dialogue, case studies, and stories in the session recording below.

The participants had a lot more to discuss so why not join them for the follow up conversation in the AISA DEIJ Collaborative Affinity Group
