Christopher Frost is currently the Deputy Head of School at Tokyo International School where he oversees school wide curriculum, assessment and pedagogy.
Christopher Frost is currently the Deputy Head of School at Tokyo International School where he oversees school wide curriculum, assessment and pedagogy. He is an experienced IB PYP workshop leader, an IB online workshop facilitator, an IB PYP visiting team leader and an IB PYP consultant. Christopher has played a key role in implementing the Columbia University (NY) Teachers College Reading & Writing Project (TCRWP) at Tokyo International School (TIS). TIS is one of only a handful of schools outside of the USA recognized by the Teachers College as having sustained ‘project’ status with a sustained relationship with the Teachers College. Christopher's strengths and passions include curriculum development, agentive leadership, promoting learner agency, concept based learning, teaching for understanding, inquiry-based pedagogy, transdisciplinary learning and nurturing learning-to-learn dispositions.
