Accreditation is the recognition that an institution maintains a certain level of educational standards. An accredited school has gone through a rigorous quality check by an authority on education to make sure the school meets their standards, is qualified to teach students the programs they are offering and the students are looked after and taught in a clean, healthy and secure environment.
The AISA community celebrates the accreditation of:
Acorns International School
Kampala, Uganda
Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa
Mombasa, Kenya
American International School of Brazzaville
Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo
Westwood International School
Gaborone, Botswana
To acknowledge this great achievement, each school has now been upgraded from AISA Affiliate Membership to AISA Full School Membership. In addition to accessing quality professional learning opportunities, AISA Full School Members are eligible to vote in the AGM, the school head may be elected to the Board and students can be nominated for scholarships and awards.
Congratulations to the schools’ staff and community!
